Update #1 LFA 26A1: (3:30PM, April 22nd 2025)

PEIFA reps participated in the DFO conference call this afternoon regarding the opening date for spring lobster in LFA 26A1 which includes PEI and NS fishers.  The long-range weather outlook is currently favorable for a scheduled opening on Friday, April 25th and out of caution, it was agreed that another DFO weather call would be scheduled for 10AM, tomorrow, April 23rd to review the updated weather forecast and confirm the opening. More info will be relayed following that call.
