The PEIFA has received gear marking visual aids created by DFO to assist in clarifying how to properly mark your gear for the upcoming 2020 fishing season.

Please note you will see 4 examples and each include how to mark your extension as well:

  1. 2 colours on rope less than 30 meters
  2. 2 colours on rope more than 30 meters
  3. 3 colours on rope less than 30 meters
  4. 3 colours on rope more than 30 meters
