CHANGE IN TRANSPORT CANADA VESSEL REGISTRATION RENEWAL - NEW IN 2024

Attention vessel owners:
- There has been a change in how a vessel's Certificate of Registry is renewed. Vessel owners will need to renew their vessels manually online ($90).
- Transport Canada has been sending letters and emails to vessel owners with registrations expiring.
- A Notice of Deficiency will be issued if a vessel is found with a suspended or expired TC registration.
- Vessel owners are encouraged to check if your Certificate of Registry has expired, you can also check TC’s system here.
