PEI SPRING LOBSTER SEASON UPDATE (SUNDAY, MAY 2ND):

DFO confirmed on the Sunday weather calls that the 2021 LFA 24 and 26A spring lobster season on PEI will open on Tuesday, May 4th. LFA 26A (NS & PEI) will open at 6AM, Tuesday. In considering the current forecast, the exact time of the Tuesday morning opening for LFA 24 will be decided on another weather call at 10AM Monday morning. A DFO Notice to Fish Harvesters confirming the openings and times will be released when available.
