HALIBUT TAG
REWARDS
Fisheries
and Oceans Canada (DFO) and the PEI Fishermen's Association are collaborating
on the 2013-2015 Atlantic Halibut Research Project. As part of the project
there have been halibut released with two types of tags (See photos). The purpose of this study is to better understand
Atlantic halibut movements and to better define the local stock.
