 HALIBUT TAG REWARDS 
 

Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) and the PEI Fishermen's Association are collaborating on the 2013-2015 Atlantic Halibut Research Project. As part of the project there have been halibut released with two types of tags (See photos). The purpose of this study is to better understand Atlantic halibut movements and to better define the local stock.

         

Pink Anchor-t tag

Reward is a hat for reported pink anchor-t tag info.

 

Satellite pop-up tag

Reward is $500 cash for every returned Satellite tag!

 

Please include the following mandatory information with the returned tags:

·        Your name, address and phone number

·        Date and location the fish was captured (coordinates)

·        length of fish
