There is a benefit being planned for Greg Lynch, on October 20th at the Ellerslie Legion. Auction starts at 8pm. Night includes Auction, 50/50 Draw, Raffle, Chili, Chicken Frico, and a live band with music from Steve Gallant, Brian Coughlin and Willard Doucette.
Greg is a long-standing Oyster fisherman from Mount Pleasant, who has recently suffered a debilitating back injury that has resulted in his inability to work, loss of the sole family income, and restricted him to home.
Beside normal household expenses, there are now excessive medication expenses, pending transportation costs to Halifax to see a Orthopedic Specialist, undergoing off-Island surgery, and transportation costs for post surgical rehabilitation.
All monies raised at this benefit will be used to financially assist this family with their monthly living expenses and medical expenses during their time of need.
