After a brief conference call with fishing industry reps and DFO, a decision to postponed the HFA 16C&E Spring herring fishery was made due to ice conditions in both NB and PEI.  A new conference call has been set for early Monday morning to review ice conditions.  When a decision is made by the DFO, the PEIFA will advise fishers accordingly.  

PEIFA Advisory representatives will be on the call on Monday.
