DFO has advised the PEIFA of the following:  

the conference call (DFO, PEI and NB fishers) today was held to discuss the opening of the Spring Herring fishery in HFA16 C&E, participants agreed to have an opening a 6h00 tomorrow morning (April 23) with a 75t cap. If the landing are above 75t we will take quota from the reserve.

The same group will hold a conference call Friday April 25 at 10h00 to assess the situation for next week.
