The Prince Edward Island’s lobster trap fishery has been Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certified for over 4 years now. Part of this process is to ensure we are catching lobsters in a sustainable manner not only for the lobster but also the bait we use to catch the lobster. To better understand our bait usage the PEIFA has worked with the MSC groups in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to create an online survey for Gulf fishers to complete, which can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BVT2ZQZ

Deadline to participate is Friday, March 13, 2020. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Melanie in the PEIFA office at 902-566-4050 ext. 3

Thank-you in advance for your participation.”
