Department of Fisheries & Oceans (DFO) has advised the PEIFA that there will be an extension to the main PEI halibut fishery.  Those with quota still remaining on their individual catch limit, will be able to fish this coming Wednesday and Thursday, September 6^thand 7^th.  The overall landings will be evaluated after that time and a possible second week (weds&thurs) of extension may go forward as well.
