CLOSE TIME VARIATION ORDER, 2011-026
The Regional Director General, Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, pursuant to paragraph 43(m) of the Fisheries Act and subsection 6(1) of the Fishery (General) Regulations, hereby makes the annexed Order varying the close time for fishing for salmon in certain waters of the Province of Prince Edward Island.

ORDER VARYING THE CLOSE TIME FOR FISHING
FOR SALMON IN CERTAIN WATERS OF THE PROVINCE
OF PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
Short Title
1. This Order may be cited as Gulf Region Close Time Variation Order 2011-026.
2. Gulf Region Close Time Variation Order 2010-024, is hereby revoked.
Variation
3. The close time as fixed by Section 61 of the Maritime Provinces Fishery Regulations and set out in items 59, 61 and 62 of Schedule VII, thereto is hereby varied so that no person shall fish for salmon in the waters set out in Column I during the close time set out in Column II in the Schedule of this Order.
Coming into force
4. This Order shall come into force on the date of signature and remains in force, unless otherwise revoked.-

The waters of the West Branch of the Morell River, Kings County, upstream from the forks at grid reference 523489E 5128917N to grid reference 523475E 5128922N to a position downstream from Leards Pond at grid reference 522147E 5127487N to grid reference 522135E 5127490N. Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid references, those grid references are based on the Universal Transverse Mercator Grid system set out on the National Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources. (North American Datum 1983).
NOTICE
The Regional Director General for the Gulf Region, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, hereby give notices of the changes to the angling season for salmon in the following waters of the Province of Prince Edward Island:
General Season: June 1 to September 15
Except the waters mentioned below:
1) Trout River, Prince County, downstream from the highway culvert at Coleman, Route 140 - Season from June 1 to October 31;
2) Mill River, Prince County, downstream from the highway culvert at Howlan, Route 148 - Season from June 1 to October 31;
3) Dunk River, Prince County, downstream from the highway culvert at West Newton, Route 109 – Season from June 1 to October 31;
4) Waters of the Morell River, Kings County, upstream from MacKays Pool to the forks of the East and West Branches - Season from June 1 to October 31;
5) Leards Pond, Morell River, Kings County, not including tributaries - Season from June 1 to October 31;
6) West Branch of the Morell River, Kings County, upstream from the forks to below Leards Pond - Season from June 1 to October 15;
7) East Branch of the Morell River, Kings County, upstream from the forks to the Hazelgreen Road – Season from June 1 to October 15;
8) West River, Queens County, downstream from the Green Bay highway culvert at Route 249 - Season from June 1 to October 31;
