Charlottetown, PE – August 15, 2024 - Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) – Gulf Region wishes to advise industry the commercial eel fishery in Prince Edward Island will open on Monday, August 26 at 6:00 a.m. and will remain open until Friday, October 25 at 6:00 p.m. 

All other management measures will remain the same for the 2024 season.
