2010 LFA 25 ROCK CRAB FALL FISHERY

Moncton – The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), Gulf Region, advises the industry that the fall fishing season for Rock Crab in Lobster Fishing Area (LFA) 25 will open at 07:00 hrs on October 16, 2010.

Fish harvesters wishing to participate in the fall fishery are required to have their licence conditions amended prior to commencing fishing activities. Fish harvesters are requested to contact their Licensing Service Center to obtain the amended licence conditions.


2010 Fall Season
October 16th at 07:00 hrs until November 26th at 24:00 hrs


All other management measures remain the same as for the spring season. Please refer to the June 21, 2010 Notice to Fish Harvesters for more details on the management measures.
