Summary of Key Changes for 2024:

1. Whales – There are no new changes to the management measures for whales in 2024.
2. Starting in 2024, the minimal carapace size of rock crab used as bait will increase to 108mm in LFA 26A (including A1, A2 and A3)
3. Opening day in LFA 26A2 – 6:00am April 26 – June 26 (Flexibility at end of season 1 day for 1 day up to 4 days).
4. Minimum carapace size in LFA 26A - Minimum carapace size has increased to 76mm in LFA 26A in 2024.
