Notice to Fish Harvesters: Instructions regarding Logbooks for use in 2013
The attached Notice to Fish Harvesters has been prepared for national distribution. However, we would like to clarify some specific details about the process for the Gulf Region. It has been determined that the Gulf Region has a leftover stock of logbooks from previous years in quantities sufficient to meet the needs of the 2013 fishery. These logbooks will be available at the Licensing Service Centres on a first come, first served basis until the Licencing Service Centers closures at the end of March 2013. An alternative plan will soon be developed in order to distribute the logbooks after the closure; however, harvesters are encouraged to obtain them via their Licensing Service Centres prior to the end of March 2013.
