As the first of June approaches, lobster fishers are reminded that the Department of Fisheries and Oceans requires your lobster logbook sheets for May be submitted within 7 calendar days following the end of May. 

As per your lobster conditions, “ The licence holder /operator shall ensure all Lobster Fishery Logbooks are accurately completed for each fishing trip. Notwithstanding item 14 of the Instructions for Completing the Lobster Logbook, the Lobster Fishery Logbooks, including NIL reports as identified in item 11 of the Instructions for Completing the Lobster Logbook, shall be submitted to Statistics Division, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, P. O. Box 5030, Moncton, N.B. E1C 9B6, on a monthly basis within seven (7) calendar days following the end of each month in which the lobster fishery was open. The final Lobster Fishery Logbook submission shall be made within seven (7) calendar days following the closure of the lobster season for which these conditions of licence apply.”
