DFO NOTICE TO FISH HARVESTERS: 
 
DELAY OF OPENING OF THE LOBSTER FISHERY IN LOBSTER FISHING AREAS (LFA) 24, 26A AND 26B SOUTH
Moncton, NB – April 29, 2019 – The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), Gulf Region, wishes to advise harvesters that due to high winds, the lobster fishery in LFA 24, 26A and 26 B South will not open on Tuesday April 30, 2019.

For the safety of all involved, the season opening will be delayed until the weather improves. We will continue to monitor the conditions and more information will be made available in a subsequent Notice to Fish Harvesters to be released on April 30, 2019.
