DELAY IN OPENING OF THE LOBSTER FISHERY

Moncton – April 23, 2015 EKME # 3461521

Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Gulf Region, wishes to advise harvesters that due to ice conditions in the
Southern Gulf of St. Lawrence, the spring lobster fishery will not open on April 30, 2015 as originally
scheduled. The season opening will be delayed until ice conditions improve. More information will be
made available in a subsequent Notice to Fish Harvesters to be released on April 29, 2015.
