EXTENSION FOR THE 2019 COMMERCIAL GASPEREAU SEASON FOR PEI

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island (PE) –

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DF0), Gulf Region wishes to advise the industry that the season dates for the Commercial Gaspereau fishery for 2019 are extended and will remain open until July 2 at 1600 hours. The weekend closures remain the same and are as follows: (1000 hours on Friday and the Sunday re-opening time of 1800 hours). All other management measures will remain the same for the 2019 season.
