PROHIBITION ORDER NO. GSN-2011-015

The Regional Director General for the Department of
Fisheries and Oceans for the Gulf Region pursuant to subsection
3(1) of the Management of Contaminated Fisheries Regulations, made
by Order in Council P.C. 1990-1121 of June 14, 1990

revokes the Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. GSN-2010-
034 issued August 31, 2010, and issues the annexed Order
prohibiting fishing for contaminated fish.

PROHIBITION ORDER NO. GSN-2011-015
ORDER PROHIBITING FISHING FOR CONTAMINATED FISH
Short Title
1. This order may be cited as the Contaminated Fisheries
Prohibition Order No. GSN-2011-015.
Coming into Force
2. This Order shall come into force on the date of signature
and remains in force unless otherwise revoked. NOTICE
The Regional Director General for the Gulf Region, Department of
Fisheries and Oceans hereby gives notice that the areas listed
below are open for fishing for any bivalve molluscs in the
Province of Prince Edward Island.
1. Waters of Vernon River inside a line drawn from grid
reference 508500 5110950 to grid reference 508200 5111000 to
grid reference 508650 5111900 to grid reference 509100
5111900. (Refer to map Montague 11L/2).
2. Waters of Orwell River upstream from a line drawn from grid
reference 508900 5110750 to grid reference 509300 5110750
and to a line drawn from grid reference 510670 5111300 to
grid reference 510650 5110720. (Refer to map Montague
11L/2).
Note: When the boundary of an area is expressed in grid
references, those grid references are based on the Universal
Transverse Mercator Grid System set out in the National
Topographic Series Map, Scale 1:50,000 published by the Department
of Energy, Mines and Resources. (North American Datum 1927)

into force on May 3, 2011 and remains in force unless otherwise

Contaminated Fisheries Prohibition Order No. GSN-2010-034 issued
on August 31, 2010, is revoked.
