The PEIFA has been advised that license conditions for the 4T7 2010 Fixed Gear Flounder fishery are now available with DFO Charlottetown office.

Participating Fishermen are asked to register with the PEIFA (to cover observer costs) by sharing information on the vessel name, VRN #, phone number and cost of registration is $125.  Fishers who have not completed and signed a vessel safety form for Biorex in the past two years will be asked to so.   Fishermen can then call DFO Ch'town to obtain their license conditions.

Also note, current conditions will be valid until May 14th, 2010 (at which time the quota shifts to the 2010-2011 quota) and fishers will need to advise DFO if they require new conditions at that time.

To register, please call PEIFA @ 566-4050
