PEIFA SPRING LOBSTER FISHERY LFA 24 AND LFA 26A 2020 OPENING DATE

The PEIFA will be submitting the vote results to the Department of Fisheries & Oceans (DFO)
Reminder: The final decision on the opening date of the spring lobster season is subject to approval by the Minister of Fisheries & Oceans (DFO).
There was a total of 841 total valid votes out of a total of 954 PEI spring lobster license holders which totals 88.2% overall return rate.
LFA 24 with 542 votes out of 600 lobster license holders totally 90.3% return rate.
LFA 26A with 299 votes out of 354 lobster license holders totally 84.5% return rate.
