LFA 26A – Sunday, April 24^th

PEIFA LFA 26A Lobster Advisory Committee held their first call tonight (Sunday) to begin discussing recommendations for an opening.  The official DFO LFA 26A weather call will take place Monday, April 25th@10:30AM where DFO, Coast Guard and Environment Canada will relay updates on Weather forecast, Search & Rescue and Aids to Navigation. DFO will then hear from PEIFA Advisory reps, as well as NS Fishing Associations and Indigenous groups.  We will update the membership with any information/updates we receive asap following the call. Please note that DFO will make the final decision on the opening.
