The following is the unofficial list of fishers drawn in the 2014 PEI Halibut Reallocation Draw on October 15th, 2014 at the Farm Centre, Charlottetown. Special thanks to Michelle Burge, MRSB Accounting for assisting with the draw process.
The unofficial list has been sent to DFO for confirmation of eligibility. DFO has advised that they will be looking to issue license conditions for 51 eligible commercial fishers (those eligible from the draw list) plus 3 commercial communal fishers; for the final phase of the 2014 PEI Halibut fishery opening on October 20th, 2014.
The DFO Notice to fishers should be available by end of day Oct 16th. Fishers are advised that new license conditions will be available on the DFO National online licensing system also sometime on the 16th. Please read conditions carefully and note any changes.
