DFO has advised the PEIFA on today’s conference call with the Tuna Advisory, that they are approaching the next 8 fishers on the draw list to pick up their tags to participate in the tuna reallocation fishery. This will include those drawn from #66 to and including #74 on the draw list. Check out the news page on the PEIFA website for the list of 1-100 that were drawn. DFO will be calling these fishers asap and conditions should also be available on the DFO National Online Licensing system asap.

DFO will be monitoring landings very closely throughout the week. Another conference call is scheduled with the Tuna Advisory on Friday to update on the latest numbers.

We will advise of any further updates regarding the reallocation.
