We’ve received the following from Transport Canada regarding vessel registration. This is NEW for 2024. According to TC, vessel registration renewal will be required every 5 years for small vessels. Applications can be mailed or emailed to TC and payments can be taken over the phone with the Vessel Registration Office. Vessel owners can keep a copy of their application onboard while awaiting a new certificate of registry. It is encouraged to contact the vessel registration office (information below) if you have specific questions regarding this new process.
