There will be a series of conference calls on Monday (April 28th) morning to discuss the forecasted weather/ice conditions ahead of the spring lobster opening in LFA 24 and 26A.

The PEIFA will have representatives from both the LFA 24 and LFA 26A advisory committee on the call with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.  As per usual, DFO has the final decision on when the season will officially open and we will update our website and our membership if any changes might occur.  This is a standard process as each year a conference call is held between Advisory reps and DFO to discuss the opening.
