TENDER CALL
The PEI Fishermen’s Association is calling for tenders from qualified individuals or companies for the following:
To Conduct the 2011 Snow Crab Draw for Qualified Core Fishers in
Prince Edward Island.
Activity will include three separate days for fisher registration in central locations within Prince, Kings and Queens Counties. The successful applicant will be responsible for facility rental, advertising, staff and all other necessary items. Responsibilities will include collecting registration fees from applicants, ensuring applicant eligibility, proper bookkeeping and accounting processes, GST collection, full administration and record keeping of the qualified applicants. Independent office and telephone facilities will be required. A draw for 31 – five tonne allotments from among registered fishers will be held immediately following the close of registrations on the third day. The successful applicant will be responsible to the PEIFA Board of Directors for accurate and timely completion of the process. Openness and transparency of the draw process must be ensured. The lowest or any bid not necessarily accepted.
