During the next 3 weeks, the PEIFA in partnership with the PEI Dept of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Rural Development and the Dept of Fisheries & Oceans will be retrieving the lobster collector cages from the 6 sites across PEI. Approx 30 cages per site were placed in depths of 25-30 feet in late spring this year, and will now be retrieved and analyzed. This is the 5th year for the project in most locations. Please feel free to come out to the wharves and take a look at what the project entails!

Wednesday Sept 25th ~ Covehead
Thursday, Sept 26th ~ Fortune
Monday, Sept 30th ~ Nine Mile Creek
