2021 PEIFA ISLAND-WIDE VOTE

 

·       Votes were reviewed on December 9th, 2021 by 12 scrutineers at the Hampton Inn, Charlottetown.

 

·       772 returned questionnaires out of a total of 1275 core license holders. This equates to an 60.55% return rate.  There was one ineligible return vote.

 

The following were the results:

 

THE VOTE QUESTION:  One core fisher can hold a spring and fall lobster license per core on Prince Edward Island?  Please circle one option:  

·        308 YES votes in favor (39.95%)          

·        462  NO votes (59.92%)

·        1 spoiled ballot (0.13%)

 

The PEI Fishermen’s Association would like to thank all PEI core fishers for their valuable input.
