REQUEST FOR TENDER – 2020 SNOW CRAB ALLOCATION

 

Sealed Tenders are requested by the Prince Edward Island Fishermen’s Association for the 2020 Snow Crab Allocation.

Bids will be considered for individual allocations, bundled allocations, or the entire snow crab quota.

Basic information is as follows, with greater detail being found in the Tender Package:

1.      The 2020 quota is 507.99 tonnes in total.

2.      The quota will be divided into allotments of 22 tonnes per allotment.

3.      Based on the 2020 allocation there are 23 allotments available for bid

4.      The formula for traps is 1 trap per 1558 pounds.

Tenders will open on Saturday April 4, 2020 and close Thursday April 9th, 2020 at 5:00 PM.

Late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders are subject to the Conditions of Tender as set out in the Tender Package.
