Postponed - 4th Opening PEI Halibut Fishery - September 27-30
After discussions with DFO today, it was confirmed the 4th PEI Commercial Halibut opening will cancelled this week (September 27-30th, 2022). In consideration of the impacts resulting from Hurricane Fiona, there are too many variables at play to have a successful and safe opening and allow everyone interested to participate. A call will be held with reps and DFO later on this week to discuss the next re-opening.
