HONORARY MEMBERSHIP AND SPECIAL RECOGNITION

On behalf of the PEI Fishermen's Association, Norman Peters (aka The Bearded Skipper) presented long time member Alton Ramsay of Kensington with an honorary membership at the 2013 PEIFA AGM & Convention.  Mr. Ramsay, aged 88, retired from lobster fishing this past year.  

Francis Morrissey also gave special recognition to Pat Power, employee with the Charlottetown Department of Fisheries & Oceans licensing Centre.  Mrs. Power recently retired after 25 years with DFO.  

Both Alton and Pat received a standing ovation from the 150 plus crowd in attendance at the 2013 AGM & Convention at the Rodd Royalty.  Well deserved!
