The PEIFA Tuna Advisory Committee would like to advise fishers of the tuna variation order released by DFO today. It states the 2013 PEI Tuna fishery will open on July 15th, 2013.
Starting immediately, fishers can obtain their tag at the DFO Licensing Office in Charlottetown (new location across from Sears) between the hours of 9AM-4PM (Monday to Friday), (closed from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 Daily). DFO Licensing will accept credit or debit (NOT cash or cheque) and DFO will issue/print conditions if requested.
