The 16th International Shellfish Festival was held on Charlottetown's historic waterfront from September 15th-18th .  The festival was a big success, with over 13,000 hungry guests arriving to sample a variety of PEI shellfish.  The PEI Fishermen's Association was present with a booth set up. Executive Director, Ian MacPherson, was on hand passing out cards with great lobster recipies on them and answering questions regarding the association.  Norman Peters, the "Bearded Skipper" was also on present, entertianing guests with his lobster trap building skills.
