The PEIFA Registration list for the PEI Halibut fishery has been sent in to DFO and Biorex, fishers can expect conditions by mail.

The 2012 PEI Halibut fishery is set to open August 28th from 8am-6pm weather permitting with 400 hooks per fisher.

Please note there will be a conference call on Monday (Aug 27th) at 8am with DFO and the PEIFA Groundfish Advisory to discuss weather conditions.  Any changes to opening date due to weather will be posted on this website ASAP.
