News Item for Immediate Release

The Prince Edward Island Fishermen’s Association is once again hosting Lobster Party on the Beach at Cedar Dunes Provincial Park in West Point on Sunday September 9th from 4 to 7:00PM.
Renowned International Chef Susur Lee will be our guest chef for this event. Susur has not been to PEI before and sees this as a great opportunity to experience coastal Island culture first hand.
Susur will be making a delicious roasted lobster tail with tomato curry jam. This dish will be a great compliment to the four other dishes that feature fresh Island lobster.
In addition, local chefs Kurtis Ellis and Andrew Nicholson will be busily preparing dishes that will include whole baked lobster done in seaweed over hot rocks. This is a treat fit for a “royal couple” and lobster foodies alike.
Last year many visitors from off Island attended and remarked how “on the beach” the setting was.
This is also a great opportunity for guests to speak to Island lobster fishers on how the resource is harvested and managed.
On line tickets are going fast and are available on the Fall Flavours web site. A shuttle bus is available from Charlottetown and Summerside that will transport guests to and from the site.
All indications are this will be another knock out event in support of our important Island lobster industry.
