The LFA 26A1 spring lobster fishing season is officially opening on Wednesday, April 26th at 6AM as scheduled. Given the light winds forecasted, the opening date/time was confirmed by DFO today’s annual opening day weather call with DFO, Environment Canada and representatives from the PEI and NS fishing industry. Wishing all LFA 26A lobster fishers a safe setting day and a prosperous season.
