LFA 25 Lobster Advisory board just finished a conference call with representatives from DFO and MFU to discuss opening day for the Lobster season in LFA 25.
The final decision made by DFO was that a variation order will be issued later today stating the season will open 6AM on Tuesday, August 11, 2015.The decision was to err on the side of caution in terms of the weather forecast for Monday.
If another call is necessary on Monday regarding Tuesday's opening, conference call information will be distributed to the advisory committee.
