Pierre Mallet, DFO Moncton Resource Management, has advised that the HFA 16C&E fall herring fishery will open on August 24th, 2014 (not the 17th previously stated on latest Notice to Fishers). The August 24th opening will be reflected in license conditions and another DFO Notice to Fishers will be released very soon stating the clarified opening.

We will post the Notice to Fishers as soon as it becomes available.
