The Old Harry prospect, located midway between the Magdalene Islands and Cape Anguille falls between two provinces, and separate jurisdictions. Exploration rights are currently held by Corridor Resources, and changes to the Environmental assessment laws in 2005 has altered requirements for sub sea oil and gas explorations. Attached below is a fact sheet with information and links to help inform PEI fishermen on the state of exploration, and how oil and gas projects could potentially affect Island fisheries.

For more information on this situation, please contact Marilyn Clark @ 418-985-2507 or by email Marilyn_Clark18@hotmail.com.
