The PEIFA staff are taking numerous calls regarding opening date and wanted to confirm that setting day is the 15th at 6am pending decisions on the annual weather call this week.

Direct wording from DFO Notice to Fishers "Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) is announcing that the lobster fishery in LFAs 23, 24 and 26 will open at 06:00 a.m. on May 15, 2020, subject to weather conditions.” In this sentence, “open” is equivalent to “setting day”.
