The PEIFA Groundfish Advisory has recommended to DFO an 6AM-6PM August 27th, 2013 date for the PEI Halibut fishery (400 hooks). The PEIFA await approval and confirmation from DFO on this request. We anticipate a decision by end of next week and we will then proceed with a registration for observer coverage through the PEIFA. Thus, more info on the registration and fee will be available shortly.
