The Prince Edward Island Fishermen’s Association is pleased to announce the arrival of the 2018 fishing and trap tag order. Tags are now available for pickup at the PEI Fishermen’s Association Tags Office at 420 University Avenue, Suite 102 in Charlottetown. We accept interact, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), cash and cheque for payment. If paying by cheque please make cheque payable to the PEIFA. Our office is open Monday – Friday: 8:30AM – 4:30PM. For further information on tags please contact Stephen or Lois at (902) 370-3013.

 

Area Distribution Days for the tags will take place on the following dates:

 

April 3rd, 2018 from 9AM to 4PM at Royal Star Foods in Tignish
April 4th, 2018 from 9AM to 4PM at O’Leary Legion in O’Leary.
April 5th, 2018 from 9AM to 4PM at the Kaylee Hall in Poole’s Corner

April 6th, 2018 from 9AM to 3PM at the Kaylee Hall in Poole’s Corner.

 

Please note: The PEIFA Tags Office in Charlottetown will be closed during Area Distribution Days.

 

Logbooks:

We have lobster logbooks available at a price of $8.00 taxes included. Please contact us if you do require one. We will have lobster logbooks with us when we are on the road with tags too.

 

National Online Licensing (NOLS):

We are able to assist fishers and crew with their NOLS tasks. Please contact us at (902) 370-3013 if you require assistance with your NOLS. We also print and mail licenses, conditions, vessel registrations and fisher registrations for folks who have asked us to do so.

Further to the NOLS system, we can assist folks who are seeking a crewmember fishing license (corks) for the upcoming 2018 fishing season as well.

 

PEIFA Member’s Bursary: Bursary applications are available in the Tags office and online. Deadline for applications is Friday, April 13th, 2018 at 4:30PM.

 

PEIFA Memberships: This year memberships can be renewed with Stephen and Lois while you are purchasing your tags and logbook. If you have any questions on your membership please contact us at (902) 370-3013.
