***Tuna Update***
The anticipated start date of July 23rd, 2018, for the commercial tuna fishery has been POSTPONED by 1 day.
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans reached out to the PEIFA today to confirm that they will not be ready to open on Monday July 23rd and instead are anticipating a start date the following day (Tuesday July 24th). DFO is hoping to have a notice to fishers out by the end of day tomorrow.
