2020 SENTINEL DRAW WINNERS:

 

Thank you to those fishers who’ve shown interest in the 2020 sentinel groundfish survey.  The registration is closed and the draw occurred on June 22^nd, 2020 at the PEIFA Farm Centre, Charlottetown following the registration deadline.  Special thanks to Darrin Charbonneau and Jennifer Murphy for your assistance in drawing the ballots from the drum.  The following fishers were drawn first for the specified site:

• Blair Matthews – Hardy’s Channel sites
• Blake Buote - Covehead sites 
• Chris Victor – Redhead sites
• Daryl McMillan – Pidgeon’s Bank sites

 

There were no registrations for the Alberton site, so a re-opening of the registration for Alberton sites only will begin tomorrow, June 26^th for all valid PEI Groundfish license holders who meet requirements.  For this reopening registration, fishers who have participated in the past will be eligible.  Follow our website www.peifa.org or Facebook page for more details on the registration reopening to be released tomorrow.
