With the collaboration of DFO, the PEI Department of Fisheries Aquaculture and Rural Development, the Lobster Science Center and the generous assistance of local fishermen, the 2010 sampling of the Post-larval Lobster collection project is well underway, with the team finishing up Alberton, Fortune, Covehead and Murray River this week, and heading out to Nine mile creek and Skinners Pond next week. We've added some pictures to our photo_gallery_here. . At both of the two locations already completed in Alberton and Fortune, the collectors held lobsters that were the young of the year as well as year classes 1-3.
