LFA 24 and 26A will proceed with a 6AM opening on Friday, April 30th.
A conference call was held today at 1:30PM, involving Industry representatives from each LFA and DFO representatives to discuss the weather forecast and the opening date of the lobster fishery. After discussions with Industry, DFO decided to proceed with the status quo for opening date and time.
A Variation order should be following shortly to confirm the above.
