1PM - May 6th UPDATE - LFA 26A PEI Lobster Season Opening  
A call was held this morning with the PEIFA LFA 26A Lobster Advisory Committee representatives and the Department of Fisheries & Oceans (DFO).  Heavy sea ice in the Northumberland Strait continues to be a major concern at this time.  Agreement was made to hold another conference call on Friday to further discuss the opening.  In consideration of the ice situation, the recommendation for an earliest possible opening of Monday, May 11th, 2015 for LFA 26A PEI was made.
