Sylvain Archambault co-founded the St. Lawrence Coalition in 2010. The St. Lawrence Coalition and Save Our Seas and Shores work together in the five eastern provinces to try to protect the Gulf from oil and gas exploration and to work towards a sustainable future for this fragile ecosystem. Mr. Archambault’s in-depth research on oil and gas issues is widely recognized. He was recently invited to speak at the Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill and Ecosystems Conference in New Orleans, USA. He is fully bilingual.
Cradled on the Waves: The Gulf at Risk public talks are co-sponsored by Women for Environmental Sustainability. Light refreshments will be served. For further information, check the PEI page on saveourseasandshores.ca or contact Ellie Reddin, 566-3600, ellie@pei.net .
